Today is the birthday of country’s one of the popular film actresses Arifa Pervin Zaman, popularly known as Moushumi. She will turn 48 today. To celebrate her birthday, a delightful situation prevails among Moushumi’s family, fans, viewers and colleagues. This year same thing will also be happened.
Moushumi said in the first hour of her birthday, she cut a cake and started celebration of birthday along with her fans online. Same time she also celebrated the moment with her family and close persons. But the actress feels bad because her mother was not with her despite having husband Omar Sani, son Fardin and daughter Faiza along with her. Every year on her birthday, Moushumi’s mother remains with her. But Moushumi is delighted to think that her mother is now staying with her younger sister Erin Zaman, who is outside the country now. This year there is a homely arrangement to celebrate the day. However, Moushumi Fan Club and Omar Sani Fan Club will celebrate the day separately.
After lockdown for Corona pandemic, Moushumi has returned to shooting through a drama titled Bhokto, directed by Tareq Shikder under the story written by Mirza Rakib. Moushumi informed that she has almost finished shooting of the drama.
The actress said, “Maintaining social distance and hygiene, I returned to shooting last September. As its story revolves with my film life, so I enjoyed a lot working in the drama. This year’s birthday will become more meaningful if my mother with me. She is right now with my younger sister Erin outside the country. Everyday I miss my mother. This year I am missing her a lot because she became sick. With Allah’s blessing she is now well, Alhamdulillah.”
Few years ago, Moushumi acted in a telefilm titled Begum Rokeya, directed by Shahin Rahman. The telefilm is available on YouTube channel of Laser Vision. Moushumi wanted to play the role in the big screen.
While talking in this regard she said, “Respected Begum Rokeya is idol to the women of our country. Earlier, I played the role in a telefilm and got huge appreciation from the viewers. Now I am more matured in acting. This time I want to portray the role again in movie.”
