4 Janazas held: Hannan Shah`s burial in Gazipur today

Three Namaz-e-Janazas for BNP Standing Committee Member ASM Hannan Shah, were held in the city on Thursday.
His second janaza was held at Mohakhali DOHS Mosque at about 10am where people from all walks of life, including politicians, attended.
Bikalpa Dhara President and former President Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq, LDP President Colonel (rtd) Oli Ahmed, ex BNP leader Chowdhury Tanveer Ahmed Siddiqui and Kalyan Party Chairman Maj Gen (Rtd) Syed Mohammad Ibrahim, among others, joined the janaza.
His third Janaza was held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad at around 11:30am.
Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi, Chief Whip ASM Firoz, on behalf of Opposition Leader, Whip Nurul Islam, among others, paid homage on his coffin after the Janaza.
From the Parliament complex, Hannan Shah’s body was taken to BNP’s Nayapaltan central office where his fourth Janaza were held after Zohr prayers.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, senior leader Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Tariqul Islam, MK Anwar, Mirza Abbas, Rafiqul Islam Mia, Dr. Abdul Moeen Khan, Abdullah Al Noman, Mohammad Shahjahan, Ahmed Azam Khan, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, Shahjahan Omar, Abdus Salam, Khairul Kabir Khokon, Fazlul Haque Milan, Syed Emran Saleh Prince and Abdus Salam Azad, among others, took part in the Janaza.
Besides, JAGPA President Shafiul Alam Prodhan, Labour Party Chairman Mustafizur Rahman Iran, NPP Chairman Fariduzzaman Farhad and NAP Secretary General M. Golam Mustafa Bhuiyan, among others, were present.
After the Janaza leaders of the BNP, its associate bodies and allies of 20 party alliances have paid homage to the coffin.
The fifth Janaza of the late leader has been held at Gausul Azam Mosque of Mohakhali after Asr prayer.
The body was kept at mortuary of CMH’s hospital. Today, it will be taken to Gazipur, where the body will be buried at his family graveyard in Kapasia after last Janaza after Jumma prayers.
The late leader’s family informed that they will arrange a doa mahfil to seek peace of his departed soul at next Saturday in Mohakhali DOHS Mosque after Magrib prayer.
His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at a mosque in Singapore on Tuesday night.
Hannan Shah was died at Raffles Heart Centre in Singapore early Tuesday at the age of 77.
His body was brought home on Wednesday evening by a flight of Bangladesh Airlines and later it was kept at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) mortuary.
