Hanging body of goldsmith recovered in Bogura

Police have recovered hanging body of goldsmiths from a business firm under Dhunat upazila of Bogura district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Liton Chandra Shil (30) son of Subas Chandra Shil of Bilakazuli village under the Upazila.
 Police recovered Liton’s body and sent to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical Collegeand hospital morgue for autopsy.
On Wednesday night, his relatives reported to the police station about the death of Liton hanging with his body inside a business house.
According to police and the family sources of the victim, Liton Chandra Shil is a gold trader by profession. For a long time, he used to make gold ornaments at the local Peichibari Market. But this business transforms into a loss-making business and takes it home where he built a new house and started business.
In this situation, Liton fell asleep in his room on Wednesday night, just like any other day. After a long night without finding him in the house, the relatives began to search. At one point, the family members reported to Liton that the dead body was hanging in the throat with a cloth inside the new business house.
Liton’s father Subas Chandra Shil said Liton committed suicide by hanging a rope in his throat because he did not pay his debt.
Sub-inspector (SI) Dhunat police Pradeep Kumar Borman said a general diary (GD) was recorded at the police station. Liton’s body was sent to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Necessary steps will be taken according to the report of the autopsy report.
