Handball referees’ course to start on July 5

The handball referees’ training course will start on July 5.
Bangladesh Handball Referees Association will arrange the coaching course. Walton Group is the sponsor of the training course.
In this regard, a press conference was held at the office room in Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF).
Senior Operative Director (Head of Games & Sports) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Chairperson of Bangladesh Handball Referees Association Hamida Begum, Vice-President of Bangladesh Handball Referees Association (BHRA) SM Khalequzzaman Shawpon, General Secretary of BHRA Md Salim Mia Babu
and Programme Co-ordinator Kamrul Islam Kiron were present at the conference.
Shawpon, Babu and Kiron will conduct the five-day long training course.
A total of 32 participants will take part in the training course.
The budget of the tournament has been estimated at Taka one lakh and thirty two thousand, while Walton Group has given Taka one lakh to BHF and BHF will bear rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
The theoretical classes will be held at the office room of BHF, while the practical classes will be taken place at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Syed Shahed Reza will be the chief guest on the concluding day (July 9).
