Ham-Rubela Vaccine campaign will begin in the Port City as elsewhere in the country from 29 February next . The campaign will continue up to March 21 across the country. Under this campaign, children aged from 9 months to 10 years will be provided Ham-Rubela vaccine . Those children earlier taken this vaccine also need same vaccine again .
Govt will patronise the campaign free of cost. In connection of the campaign, district, upazila information officers, drama personalities, cultural activists of Chattogram and Chattogram Hill Tracts have been awarded through a day-long workshop was held at Chattogram PID Conference Hall yesterday for vigorous publicity campaign on Ham-Rubela Vaccine. . Director (Admn) Munshi Jalaluddin inaugurated the workshop as Chief Guest.
Among others, Director (Publicity) Md. Taiyub Ali, Communication for Development Specialist Sheikh Masudur Rahman of UNICEF, Chief of UNICEF , Chattogram chapter Gita Das, Deputy Director of District Information office Md. Sayeed Hasan were present in the workshop.
