This year, Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort is going all-out to host a carnival for Halloween focused on providing a conducive environment for children and youths to foster their creativity at the hotel’s rooftop garden restaurant Grill on The Skyline on October 31 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. With a sumptuously imaginative monster buffet dinner, additional gruesome snacks to enhance the event’s horror movie marathon experience, provision to take instant photos with contemporary pop culture horror icons, and a round of other entertaining activities, Dhaka Regency Halloween Carnival is set to ensure families have a fiendishly fun evening, says a press release.
Moreover, the hotel is also hosting a short story writing competition for the young, in which anyone between the ages 7 to 18 years and residing in Bangladesh may participate.
To enter, contestants need simply write a short story ranged between 1,500-3,000 words and submit it to the hotel’s online submission form (link is available on the hotel’s Facebook page) till October 28. Both English and Bangla entry will be accepted and three winners based on imagination and delivery of their stories will gain free entry to the carnival along with an exclusive Trick-Or-Treat gift hamper and the opportunity to have their stories read to the event audience.
