Ignoring jail code, Hall Mark General Manager Tushar Ahmed passed time with a woman in Kashimpur jail.
Several images of closed circuit camera footage of the jail showed that the jailed Hall Mark GM walking embracing a woman inside the jail.
Two jail officials were allegedly involved with the occurrence.
District administration formed a three members committee to investigate the matter on January 12 while the jail authority also announced another three members committee on January 21.
The chief of the district administration’s probe committee said that truthiness of the allegation has been found authenticate in the preliminary evidences.
CCTV footage on January 6, showed that Tushar Ahmed was walking in the closed areas of the jail officers’ offices wearing black dresses.
After some time, a women wearing purple color clothing entered the jail from outside.
Senior Jail Superintendent of the jail, Ratna Roy and Deputy Jailer Golam Saklayen were present there at the time.
The woman went to the jail officers offices at 12:55PM with two youths. Golam Saklayen welcomed the woman.
Footage showed the woman to enter, Saklayen deported from the room and returned after about 10 minutes bringing Tushar Ahmed there.
After 10 minutes, Ratna left her office room, CCTV footage showed.
Then, after two minutes, Tushar Ahmed entered Ratna’s room and came back within minutes and entered again with the woman while they were found laughing. Tushar with the woman returned Saklayen’s room after two minutes. They came back from there after about 45 minutes.
Attempt to talk with Ratna and to Saklayen failed as they had not received phone calls.
The district probe committee headed by the Additional District Magistrate Abul Kalam, while Executive Magistrate Umme Habiba Farzana and Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury were its members.
“We have got truthiness of the matter in our preliminary investigation. We will submit our probe report within two or three days,” Abul Kalam said.
Additional Jail Inspector General Abrar Hossain was made the head of the jail authority’s committee, while Deputy Secretary Abu Sayeed Mollah and DIG Prison Jahangir Kabir made its members. Abrar Hossain said, justice will prevail through fair investigation.
