The Hajj flights carrying pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will start operating at the end of August, said Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon.
“Our Hajj flights are likely to begin on Aug 27 and end on Sept 28,” he told a news conference at the ministry on Wednesday.
The return flights will start on Oct 8 and continue until Nov 8, Menon said.
As many as 102,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj this year, he said. Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Saudi Airlines will carry equal number of pilgrims, the minister said.
