Bangladeshi singer Samarjit Roy has performed a duet with legendary Indian singer Haimanti Sukla, which is set to be released today.
The song, titled Tumi bhorer pakhir moto, will be released on Gaan Chobi Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

Samarjit met with Haimanti Sukla at her residence last month, with hopes that she would like the song. After listening to the lyrics and tune, the veteran singer agreed to lend her voice for the duet.
Versatile singer and composer Samarjit attained a degree in Indian classical vocal music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in New Delhi. He is a disciple of Padma Shri Madhup Mudgal and Padma Shri Ajoy Chakravarty.
Samarjit has received several awards such as the coveted Pandit DV Paluskar Award, Sangeeta Vasant Bendre Award, Nalini Pratap Kanvinde Award, Hari Om Trust Award, Vasudev Chintaman Waghmare Award, Sushila Award, and Sukhvarsha Roy Award.
