Staff Reporter: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selector Habibul Bashar’s mother, Rizia Begum passes away at her hometown Kushtia at around 1:15pm on Saturday.
She was age of 72.
Bashar’s mother was suffered from a prolonged illness.
“My mother has been sick and bedridden. Her condition worsened in the last few days. I went to visit her few days back. But I still can not believe that she is no more with us,” Habibul Bashar told journalists.
Rizia Begum was mother of mother of six sons and two daughters.
Former national skipper Habibul Bashar returned to Dhaka from his Kushtia home on March 22 after visiting his mother.
Namaj-e-janaza of the deceased will be held after Maghrib prayer before her burial at the municipilaty graveyard.
