After a long time, popular singer Habib Wahid rendered a song for Ananda Mela of Bangladesh Television on the occasion of coming Eid. In 2008, a special musical programme based on Habib’s seven songs was telecasted on BTV. Before it, he also rendered song for Ananda Mela.
This year Eid Ananda Mela is being jointly made by Nur Anwar Ronzu and Md Mahfuzar Rahman. Viewers’ attraction will be Habib rendered the song Ghum in Ananda Mela. It is Habib’s last rendered song which has been released on Youtube recently. Suhrid Sufina wrote its lyrics while Habib composed its music. Recording of Habib’s Ghum was done at main auditorium of BTV on June 11.
While sharing his feelings to render song on BTV’s Ananda Mela after a long time Habib Wahid told this correspondent, “I really enjoyed to rendered song in Ananda Mela because it will be aired on BTV. There are many satellite channels in country but those did not exceed the viewers’ popularity like BTV till now. I am really happy for this. In fact, after long time working in BTV I found many changes there.”
