Gulshan Lake, treated one of the major veins of the city, is being dirty and polluted with garbage, water hyacinths and sewages. Particularly, the lakeside dwellers discharge tons of human waste and household trashes into the lake every day through about 200 sewerage pipes. But the authorities concerned remain uncared for the reasons best known to them.
