Gulshan-e-Yasmin, an artist, journalist and singer, was awarded Gold Medal and a certificate at the first convocation of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT) held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka recently.
She obtained the medal for her MSS (GP) as per the decision of the syndicate of the university.
President Abdul Hamid was present at the function as the chief guest, said a press release.
Gulshan-e-Yasmin is the founder Secretary General of Children and Women Vision Foundation. She is also associated with a number of social and cultural organisations for the development of society.
