Guardian Life in association with Channel I has recently organized a budget discussion program titled “Guardian Life Budget Bisleshon” on Bangladesh’s economic recovery and domestic investment in the Covid-19 situation.
Since the beginning of 2020, there have been doubts whether it would be possible to maintain the socio-economic progress achieved in the last few yearsdue to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, we have already started facing the impacts of Covid-19 as on economic growth, job losses and increase in poverty.
To address the crisis Bangladesh government has already taken several necessary steps and soon the government will also be declaring budget for the next fiscal year (2020-2021) in June 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic, said a press release.
However, to discuss about the budget of Bangladesh during COVID-19 Pandemic this program has been designed which comprises of prominent economists, professionals of financial institution and others.
