Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) has successfully installed 82 km ‘Hatirumru-Bheramara Gas Connection Pipeline” applying Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology in 2.2 km wide and 170 feet deep into the River Padma.
Giving priority as advanced development project, the government has placed the 30 inches pipelines in 82 km area in ‘Hatirumru-Bheramara
Gas Connection Pipeline” project under the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Bangladesh government on July 13.
With the successful installation of the GTCL, people from South-West of the country will get the access to the gas supply.
Now, Petro-Bangla can supply gas in the South-West zone of electrification centers.
