An orientation programme for the students of 21st MBBS batch of Gonoshasthya Samaj Vittik Medical College (GSVMC) of Gono Bishwabidyalay was held on its own campus at Savar on Sunday. Gono Bishwabidyalay’s Vice-Chancellor Mesbahuddin Ahmad presided over the programme.
University Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Delwar Hossain, Registrar Md. Delower Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Dr Hasin Anupama Azhari, Coordinator of Gonoshasthaya Kendra Dr Manzur Kadir Ahmed, Vice Principal of medical college Dr Mohib Ullah Khondoker, Head, Dept of Neonatology and Paediatrics Prof Dr Md. Nurul Islam, Head, Dept of Biochemistry Prof Dr Farida Adib Khanum and Head, Dept of Physiology Prof Dr Munjiba Shams addressed the programme. Principal of college Prof Dr Laila Parveen Banu gave the welcome speech. The speakers urged the students to become a good human being as well as doctor on the occasion.
Earlier, an oath taking program for the new comers was held at National Memorial in Savar. Vice-Chancellor Mesbahuddin Ahmad conducted the ceremony. The Registrar, Deans, Principal, Exam Controller, Heads and Faculties were present in the programme.
