From that point of view Dhaka’s residents will now get a relief space from the urban complexities and concrete jungle of the city life. A new art gallery and café has introduced this solution. This art gallery and café is situated in the capital’s Gulshan area. Recently with the ensuring aristocratic and comfortable condition Bronia Café & Gallery has started its journey on the second floor of Richmond Concord in Gulshan Avenue area. A group art exhibition of the country’s renowned and talented painters was inaugurated on the occasion of launching ceremony of Bronia Café & Gallery.Besides displaying famous artworks of the country’s reputed painters, arrangements of coffees of world class brands, breakfast, lunch and exclusive Italian cuisines, live music and also screening movies are available in Bronia Café & Gallery. Therefore, classic interior design and unobtrusive classical music with seating arrangement are providing by the gallery and café owner. It can become a perfect backdrop to the capital city. The month-long group exhibition was inaugurated jointly by Professor of the Department of Drawing and Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University Jamal Ahmed and noted art collector Durjoy Rahman Joy on January 17. Chairman of Bronia Café & Gallery Tushish Ghosh, Managing Director of the café gallery Abdul Jalil, chief patron of the café gallery Nurul Amin, among others, were present at the inauguration. Artworks of forty artists – Prof Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Biren Shome, Rokeya Sultana, Jamal Ahmed, Shishir Bhattacharya, Nasreen Begum, Khalid Mahmood Mithu, Kanak Chapa Chakma, Anisuzzaman, Mostafizul Haq, Ashok Karmaker, Rezaun Nabi, Shameem Subrana, Bishwajit Goswami, Nazia Andaleeb Preema, Abdus Salam, Shahid Kazi, Fahmida Enam Kakoli, Azmeer Hossain, Dr Azharul Islam Chanchal, Abdus Sattar Toufiq, Joya Shahrin Huq, Ashit Mitra, Ruhul Karim Rumee, Tania Sultana Brishty, Farzana Ahmed Urmi, Nagarbasi Barman, Sohana Shahreen, Syed Zahid Iqbal, Hossain Muhammad Farook, Sk Manir Uddin, Sourav Chowdhury, Tarit Barua, Golam Faruque Swapan, Gazi Mosaddaqur Rahman, Shahabuddin Ahmed and Kalidas Karmakar – are on display in the gallery now.The exhibition will continue till February 17.
