The Director of Center for Environment and Population Health of Griffith University of Australia Prof Dr. Cordia Ming-Yeuk Chu on Thursday called on Vice Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Prof Dr. Farzana Islam at her latter’s office on the campus.
During the meeting Dr. Cordia expressed willingness to conduct bilateral activities on academic and research with JU Public Health and Informatics department.
JU VC thanked Dr. Cordia for her willingness and agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding between JU and Griffith University.
Chairman of JU Public Health and Informatics department Professor Dr. Ruhul Furkan Siddique, Assistant Professor Dr. Jahirul Islam, Lecturer Shabnam Nahar and Elena Schak of Griffith University were present at the courtesy meeting among others.
