President of Bangabandhu Sanskritic Jote and vice President of Awami Jubo Mahila League, Coxsbazar district unit Neelima Akhter Chowdhury said she becomes candidate in the women reserved seat in the 11th Parliament aimed at to apprise the grievances and women’s rights before the parliament. Neelima submitted nomination paper to Election Commission for the reserved seat from Coxsbazar district under Greater Chattogram.
He hoped that the high command of the ruling party and chief of Awami League Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will justify the activities of the all contesting candidates in selecting the nomination with previous records of party activities.
Neelima also told this correspondent over cell phone that if she elected will launch bigger campaign against drugs, militancy from Coxsbazar zone to free the zone from the curse of drugs.
Neelima Akhter is the daughter of late Sheikh Mofizur Rahman chowdhury of Panirchara of Ramu Upazila who was a freedom figher. Neelima is working in the coxsbazar zone for the last one decade with humanitarian activities duly funded by the international organization.
Neelima is the President of Agrajatta(a NGO) still working in cozxbazar zone in Rohingya camps of Teknaf and Ukia and also undergoing activities for the welfare of RMG workers in the port city under fund of GTZ and Action since long.
