Greetings continue to pour in for PM Hasina

More heads of state and government including Nigerian president and Croatian and Belarusian Prime Ministers have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Sheikh Hasina on her assuming office as the prime minister for the fourth time.
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in his message sent to the Bangladesh Prime Minister said: “Your Excellency and your party’s historic landslide victory in the elections is a testimony to the excellent leadership style and commitment to the interest of the citizens, as well as the progress recorded during your previous stewardships.”
“It is also a definite expression of trust and confidence in your able leadership by the people of Bangladesh,” he added.
Muhammadu Buhari said he has no doubt that with exemplary and visionary leadership of the prime minister, Bangladesh will maintain its fast growth and development traction which would continue to impact positively on her friendly people.
The Nigerian president reaffirmed his country’s avowed commitment to robust engagements, as on active partner in our joint march to prosperity.
“I look forward to the further strengthening of the existing cordial relations at all fronts between our two friendly countries in the coming years,” he said.
Muhammadu Buhari wished good health and resounding success of Sheikh Hasina.
In his message sent to Sheikh Hasina, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said: “On the occasion of your reappointment at the head of the government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, allow me to sincerely congratulate you on behalf of the Croatian government and wish you all the success in carrying out this high and responsible role.”
Plenkovic said he is convinced that the relations between the two countries will continue to develop for mutual benefit and satisfaction, and thus contribute to international understanding, confidence and peace in the world.
“I am looking forward to working with you to achieve these goals as well as to increasing the bilateral economic exchange, cultural and people-to-people contact between our two nations,” he said.
Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas in his congratulatory message to the Bangladesh premier said: “I am convinced that your work in this position will contribute to the development of the economy of the country, strengthening of the international cooperation and to ensuring the well-being of the people.”
He reiterated the readiness of the Republic of Belarus to widen the Belarus-Bangladesh collaboration in all areas of mutual interest.
