Health Economics Unit (HEU) of Health and Family Welfare Ministry and Green Delta Insurance has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the implementation of the 2nd phase of Shasthyo Surokhsha Karmasuchi (SSK) project, says a press relaese.
Director General of Health Economics Unit Md Ashadul Islam and Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Farzana Chowdhury signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations held at HEU office in the city on Thursday.
Nasiruddin Ahmad Choudhury, advisor of the Green Delta Insurance and other top officials were also present at the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Farzana Chowdhury said that it’s a great experience to work with the government. “We have learnt so many things from the first phase of this project and will work more constructive way in the 2nd phase,” she said.
Health Economics Unit DG Md Ashadul Islam said that SSK project is government’s priority project and the key aim of this project is bringing poor people into the health safety net.
