The grass-root level wrestling training programme began at Satkhira and Thakurgaon on Thursday.
DC of Satkhira district Abul Kasham Md Mohiuddin inaugurated the training programme as the chief guest at Satkhira District Stadium. Members of Satkhira District Sports Association were present at the time. A total of 100 participants took part in the selection phase. Of them, 10 boys and 10 girls have been selected. They are taking part in the 10-day long training camp. National Coach Mizanur Rahman is conducting the coaching camp.
Meanwhile, General Secretary of Thakurgaon District Sports Association Masudur Rahman Babu inaugurated the training camp at Shaheed Mohammad Ali Stadium in Thkurgaon on the same day. National Coach Ashraf Ali is conducting the training camp, while Mashiur Rahman Biplob is giving him cooperation as Assistant Coach. 40 boys and 30 girls took part in the selection phase. Of them, 20 participants have been selected for the 10-day long coaching camp.
