Grants have been given to the meritorious students, with the motto of ‘I will build a country with education – Sheikh Hasina’s Bangladesh ‘Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mejbaul Karim presided over the Upazila Parishad auditorium organized by Upazila Administration and Upazila Education Officer on Sunday morning. Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Aziz, Member of Parliament for 64 Sirajganj-3 (Tarash Raiganj) constituencies gave a financial grant of Tk. 2,000 among 125 meritorious students of government primary schools from his own found.

Abdul Haque, General Secretary Sanjit Karmakar, Member of Zilla Parishad Lecturer Mofazzal Hossain, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Anwar Hossain Khan, Lecturer Morzina Islam, Tarash Police Station OC Fazle Ashiq, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Fakir Zakir Hossain, Primary Education Officer Akhtaruzzaman, Talam UP Chairman Abbas-uz-Zaman, Baruhas UP Chairman Lecturer Moktar Hossain Mukta, Magura Binod UP Chairman Lecturer Atiqul Islam Bulbul and leaders of Awami League’s affiliated organizations were present.
