Grandson with grand-mother appear at PEC exam at Trishal

To get rid of illiteracy, an old woman (66) with her grand son Zihad Mea (10) has appeared at the PEC Examination this year at Trishal under Mymensingh recently.
Grand-mother Sundori Begum and grand-son Zihad have participated in the PEC Examination from Southkanda Government Primary School under this Upazila. Sundori Begum is a wife of Farmer Abul Hussain at Satkanda village of Horirumpur Union.
During examination hours , it is seen that Sundori Begum (66) is sitting for the examination among 370 examinees of Chawladi Govt Primary School Centre on Tuesday because she has to make a good result to get rid of the curse of illiteracy.
 Sundori Begum informed that her husband Abul Hussain is a sharecropper cultivator by profession. They don’t know how to read and write. This couple could not make their children educated because of poverty. She also informed that she made a mistake to give 3 signature while opening a Bank Account at Kashigong Branch of Agriculture Bank. At this the manager of Bank threw away file before her . Later, returning home she promised , she has to get rid of the curse of illiteracy by hook or crook.
 Later , she and her grand-son Zihad went to the Headmaster of Southkanda Government Primary school and admitted herself into class one. She used to go to school regularly by the side of working as a maid servant
