The annual Iftar and Doa Mahfil of Chittagong Press Club was held on Friday at city posh community hall amid presence of intellectuals, politicians, bureaucrats , senior journalists and journalists of electronics and print medias. President of CPC Kalim Sarawar and the general secretary of CPC Mohsin Chowdhury welcomed the guests exchanged compliments with them.
A huge assembly was witnessed in the Iftar party and it was a really a reunion of the journos in presence of Editor of Dainik Purbokone, BNP leader Dr. Shahdat Hossain, Chittagong DC Mesbahuddin, Ctg Port chairman Khaled Iqbal, CWASA Managing Director Engr. AKM Fazlullah, District Parishad administrator MA Salam, AL leader Mofizur Raham, CJKS Secretary Shahabuddin Shamim, President of Lawyers Assocn Adv. Kafiluddin, chairman of IEB Engr. Sadeq Md. Khan and former and incumbent office bearers of press club . Besides, the donor members of the CPC were also participated the Iftar. Moulana Md. Jamaluddin conducted the doa mahfil and offered munajat in it.
