A graft case against BNP Student Affairs Secretary Shaheed Uddin Chwdhury Anee was filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on charge of amassing wealth of Tk 1.40 crore dishonestly.
ACC Deputy Director Manjur Marshed registered the first information report (FIR) with Ramna Police Station on Thursday in this connection.
Taking into cognizance a complaint against Anee, the anti-graft body decided to launch an inquiry into his wealth on January 29 this year.
On February 2, Deputy Director Khandaker Khalilur Rahman was authorised to look into the matter.
