The Graduation Dinner of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) course – ‘DSCSC 2017-18′ – was held at DSCSC officers’ mess, Mirpur Cantonment, in the capital on Thursday.
Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi spoke at the function as the chief guest, said an ISPR press release on Friday.
Congratulating all the graduating student officers for successful completion of this course, he expressed his satisfaction over the high standard of training that is imparted at DSCSC.
He highlighted the roles of DSCSC in the field of Armed Forces Officers’ training and expected that the college will continue its high standard of training in the future.
This year, a total of 266 officers, including 136 officers from Bangladesh Army, 40 from Bangladesh Navy, 22 from Bangladesh Air Force and 68 overseas officers from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Liberia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, the USA, Jordan and Zambia will be graduating from this College, the press release said.
