Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Law of Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) was held on its Banani campus on Saturday. Law Department of NUB organised the function.
President of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association Advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun was present at the function as the chief guest while Chairman of NUB Trust Professor AYM Abdullah, Vice-Chancellor of NUB Professor Anwar Hossain, Pro-VC of NUB Professor Anwarul Karim, Treasurer Md Anwar Hussain and Registrar Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui were present as special guests.
Dean of Department of Law of NUB Professor AWM Abdul Huq presided over the program.
In his speech, the chief guest delineated the role of lawyers in building a nation. He called upon the graduates to prepare themselves for engaging in world-class legal professions and adopt the latest technological innovations to enrich their career.
