Dipok Barman ,son of late Santosh Barman,the family has been ousted from dwelling house by land grabbers at the village of Tangabo under Pagla Thana in Gafargaon Upazila.
It is mentionable that Santosh Barman was the only doctor in Bamonkhali, Basia and Tangabo villages . After his death Dipok Barman is providing treatment to the villagers. After the death of Santosh Barman some miscreants attacked on this family for grabbing land and occupied his land. They also threatened this minority family to death. The other members of Dipok family went to India but he has been living here for a long time. Dipok Chandra Barman, three daughters and his wife have taken shelter at the house of Kajol Chandra Barman .
He informed now he is living in inhuman condition with his family. He got some lands from his father by inheritance near Tangabo Bazar and wanted to build up a house in a piece of land. Then Nijam Uddin Khan,Hafij Uddin,Lutfur Rahman,Sultan Prodhan including some land grabbers threatened to kill him.
He also said, I want justice and safety to the present Government.
UP Chairman Mufazzal Hossain Sagar said, I have told the minority community family to take shelter of the law. Officer-in-Charge,Kamal Hossain of Pagla Thana said,`I received a complaint and told the two parties to come to police station with documents. The villagers said, the present chairman and his people occupy Dipok`s land .
