A total of 1 lakh 83 thousand 340 candidates got GPA-5 in SSC and equivalent examinations this time. And this time 4,734 students got GPA-5 in Sylhet Education board. This year, 581 more students than last time have achieved the highest result index.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday (December 30) inaugurated the result publication programme by pressing the switch from Bangabhaban.
Analyzing the results of Sylhet Board, it can be seen that last time the pass rate of SSC and equivalent examinations in Sylhet was 97.69 percent, and this time the pass rate was 98.6 percent. 4 thousand 263 students got last GPA-5. This time the number has increased to 4,634 people.
4,454 students got GPA-5 from Science Department in Sylhet Board, 229 students got GPA-5 from Humanities Department and 151 students got GPA-5 from Business Education Department.
2,297 students got GPA-5 in Sylhet district. Of these, 1,033 are boys and 1,265 are girls. 69 students of Habiganj got GPA-5. Of these, 345 are boys and 524 are girls. 1040 people got GPA-5 in Moulvibazar. Of these, 398 are boys and 648 are girls. In Sunamganj district only 628 people got GPA-5. Of these, 254 are boys and 363 are girls.
Out of 919 educational institutions participating in SSC and equivalent examinations in Sylhet Board of Education, 175 educational institutions have passed 100%.
Concerned people say that the pass rate of the board has increased at the highest rate due to the good results of the students of the humanities department.
In Sylhet, the pass rate was 98.6 percent and 4,063 students got GPA five. It is learned that 1 lakh 19 thousand 553 students participated in SSC examination this year under Sylhet Education Board.
Of these, 1 lakh 15 thousand 600 people have passed. 96.7 of the pass. Among them 51,038 are boys and 74,314 are girls. The pass rate has increased by 16.99 percent this year as compared to last year. Last year the pass rate was 7.69. Out of 4,834 students who got GPA 5, 2,026 were boys and 2,608 were girls.
Meanwhile, the pass rate in the science department is 95.29, the pass rate in the humanities department is 97.28 and the pass rate in the business administration department is 95.63. This year, there are 16 institutions that have passed 100% of the students. Last year there were 43.
Meanwhile, Due to Corona epidemic, SSC and equivalent examinations could not be held on time this year.
The SSC examination started on November 14 after eight and a half months of the scheduled time when the infection was somewhat reduced. 22 lakh 26 thousand 113 students took part in the examination.
Due to Corona, this test was taken in short syllabus. This time the number of candidates has increased by 1 lakh 89 thousand 334 more than last time. Last time there were 20 lakh 46 thousand 69 candidates.
This year’s SSC exam is only for elective subjects. Numbers are given through assessment by mapping the subjects of previous public examinations on other required subjects. The results will be known simultaneously at 12 noon at the educational institution, online and via SMS on mobile phones.
