Grameenphone reported revenue of BDT 27.6 billion for the first quarter of 2016 which is 9.5 per cent higher growth than the previous year.
Subscription and traffic revenue (excluding interconnection) grew by 11.8 per cent with growing contribution from data and VAS. Besides, data revenue grew by 71.1 per cent in year-on-year (YoY) while VAS grew by 20.5 per cent (YoY) and voice revenue also up by 4.8 per cent (YoY) with healthy development of minutes of usage.
