Following the success of previous co-branded offers, the country’s leading mobile phone operator Grameenphone and handset brand Lava have jointly brought two new affordable smartphones bundled with exclusive offers, said a press release.
Two Grameenphone-Lava co-branded devices, Lava Iris 605 and Lava Iris 821, were launched on Monday at a ceremony in a city hotel.
“Smartphones have re-defined the idea of staying connected and changed the way of communication hence we, along with Lava, are bringing two new affordable yet brilliant smartphones which will connect more people and empower their lives,” said Grameenphone Chief Marketing Officer Yasir Azman while announcing the new smartphones, said a press release.
Lava Iris 605, priced Taka 4,299, features 2 megapixel front flash camera and 5 megapixel rear camera along with features like smile detection, panorama, HDR, and beauty mode.
The device is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core Mediatek processor, 8 GB ROM, 1 GB RAM, and a 1750 mAh battery.
