Grameenphone (GP) clinched the title of AL Haramain 5th T20 Corporate Cricket beating IFIC Bank by 7 wickets in the final held on Saturday at Shyamoli Club Ground.
Batting first after winning the toss, IFIC Bank scored 143 for 8 in their stipulated 20 overs with Yeadur Rahman scoring 61 runs.
Tanvir Hossain of GP claimed three wickets for 21 runs.
In reply, GP reached home in 12.5 overs with seven wickets in hand. Fazle Rabby contributed 58 runs. Raihan Kawser of IFIC Bank took 2 wickets conceding 26 runs.
Fazle Rabby of GP was named the player of the match while Asfaque Hossain of the champions’ team was adjudged player of the tournament.
