Grameenphone (GP) has approved 250 per cent cash dividend for 2021. The approval came at its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Tuesday, said the mobile phone operator in a statement, said a press release.
For 2021, the board of directors of Grameenphone announced a final dividend in cash at the rate of 125 per cent of the paid-up capital, it said. With this cash dividend pay-out, the total cash dividend stands at 250 per cent of the paid-up capital, including the previous 125 per cent interim cash dividend pay-out, representing 98.91 per cent of the profit after tax for the year.
