With the expansion of the cyber space and its growing threats, the government has set up country’s first cyber security lab ‘Cyber Range’ in a bid to ensuring security in public and private domains.
This lab has been set up in the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) with the support of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division.
ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said Cyber Range is the first lab set up in the educational institution to work on ensuring cyber security and such lab will be set up in all the educational institutions in phases.
The state minister said this on Sunday while inaugurating the country’s first ‘Cyber Range’ lab under the project of the ‘Installation of Safe Email and Digital Literacy Centre’ in the capital.
