State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak said the government is working to establish knowledge-based society through bringing all people under digital services.
“We have to ensure improved internet services, if we want to expand digital services across the country,” he told a session of Tallinn e-Governance Conference-2018 at Tallinn, capital of Estonia, an official release said here on Wednesday.
President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid inaugurated the two-day conference while Prime Minister of Estonia Lucia Allen Chastanet attended the panel discussion titled “How to manage digital citizen centre e-governance”.
Palak said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has declared the Vision-2021 to promote ICT based services for all level of people of the country.
He said the government has increased, after assuming power, internet penetration sharply to supplement the efforts of the government to build a digital Bangladesh.
