Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun said the government is working to ensure modern facilities for the teachers.
“The present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to achieve the sustainable development goal.
In order to achieve the SDG goals of decent work and economic growth, the government will ensure modern facilities for the teachers,” he said. The minister said this on Monday while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion at Sagar-Runi Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in the city, said a press release.
In the discussion, the leaders of the Private Teachers and Employees Forum have demanded the nationalization of the MPO-enabled education system during the Birth Centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Humayun assured the teachers-staff leaders that this demand of the teachers’ society would be raised in the National Assembly in due course.
