State Minister for Water Resources Lt Col (Retd) Nazrul Islam Hiro Birpratik said the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly with commitment of connecting every house with power supply network throughout the country very soon
The Minister said this while he was addressing at Chanderpara Madrasha premises in the inaugural function of switching on power supply lines at the four villages of Mohisarsura union of Narsingdi Sadar upazila on Wednesday.
To fulfill long Cherished demand of the local people, switching on of the newly built power supply lines in the residential houses of Chandrepara, Hamtti, Mohisarsura and Ulgi villages of Mohisarsura union of Sadar upazila implemented by Narsingdi Palli Bidyut Samity-1
The Minister said the present government set glaring instance in various sector like power, education ,communication health and agriculture He said Bangladesh will become a mid-income country within short span of time and will be first income country within 2041 as it is growing steady over the years.
Later the Minister inaugurated the Surface Water Treatment Plant 600m3/hour. under the project of Water Supply and Sanitation sector at Brahamanpara (Pathar ghata) area on the bank of river Meghna in the town. The plant installed at a cost Taka 13 crore. Over two lakh people of the pourashava area will enjoy pure water supply facilities
With the chair of Narsingdi Pourashava Chairman Kamruzzaman Kamrul the inaugural function was addressed among others by General Secretary of District Awami League Abdul Motin Bhuiayan, Former vice president Gm Taleb Hossain Muktijuddah commander Abdul Motaleb Pathan, President of District Jatiya Party Shofiqul Islam and Narsingdi Pourashava Engineer Abdul Mannan .
