Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy said present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is continuing its efforts to build the country free from hunger and poverty.
The deputy minister said this on Sunday while addressing a views-exchange meeting
on “Progress of works of different on-going projects” with the district-level government officials and public representatives of Netrakona district at the conference room of Netrakona DC office as the chief guest.
Prime Minister’s private secretary-1 Sazzadul Hasan also addressed the meeting as special guest. He underlined for the concerted efforts to implement all the development projects to build the country as a developed one.
Sazzadul Hasan called upon them to work with sincerity and honesty for development of Netrakona district.
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Netrakona Dr. Musfiqur Rahman, Administrator of Netrakona Zila Parishad Motiur Rahman Khan and General Secretary of district Awami League Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru spoke on the occasion.
Chairmen and Nirbahi Officers of ten upazila parishads and mayors of five pourasavas of the districts were present in the function.
The meeting also discussed different on-going development projects undertaken on different sectors including education, communication, health and agriculture sectors in the district.
