Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc on Saturday said the government is working for the well- being of the people with differently able.
“The physically challenged people are not burden of state…They should be given equal facilities like normal ones,” he told a debate competition at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) here, an official release said.
Debate for Democracy organized the competition titled “Jukti Aloy Dekhi” for the visually impaired students.
Chairman of Debate for Democracy Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron, Prof Abu Mohammad Rois and professionals, among others, were present at the function.
