The government has provided skill development training to 13.67 lakh youths in different trade for getting jobs easily as well as creating self-employment across the country.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder told this in the Jatiya Sangsad on Tuesday, while replying to a tabled question from treasury bench member Nurunnabi Chowdhury.
He said the Youth Development Directorate under the ministry provided 33 institutional and 41 non-institutional trainings to 13,67,9,06 young people including women during the government’s last regime.
