Govt intends to monitoring the activities of the NGOs in the country and hence police authority launches drive to collect the details of the functioning NGOs in the port city . Primarily the activities of the 17 religious based NGO will be monitored as directed by the police headquarters.
CMP and district police will work simulatenously to collect the details of the NGOs at grassroot level. The was confirmed by the CMP police authority while talked.
Beside the monitoring of NGO Bureau and District administration, detective unit of CMP and district police begin monitoring as directed by the higher authority, sources said.
Chittagong police super Nure Alam Mina told that headquarters asked them to send details of the NGOs as such we begin the collection of details of NGOs at thana level also.
