The government is planning to impart training to the religious leaders, including imams, sebayaits, purohits and bhikkhus in order to increase awareness against fanaticism and other bad practices in society.
The finance minister said this on Thursday while presenting the budget for 2015-16 fiscal year at the Jatiya Sangsad.
“We are offering training to imams, sebayaits, purohits and bhikkhus in order to increase awareness against fanaticism, terrorism, social decadence and other bad practices in society”, said the minister.
“Side by side, we are providing financial assistance to the religious institutions for their development”, he said
