Govt takes massive uplift programmes in Rangpur

State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mashiur Rahman Ranga, MP, has said the present government has taken massive uplift programmes in Rangpur.
“The current pace of development will continue in Rangpur,” he said this yesterday while distributing about Taka 1.87 crore as price of the acquired land among 23 land owners at a ceremony organised by Taraganj upazila administration at Taraganj as chief guest.
The government acquired the land for construction of a rural development academy at Taraganj at a cost of Taka 108 crore.
The state minister said the present government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been conducting massive uplift works to ensure a balanced development of all areas in the country for changing fate of the people and the nation as a whole.
“The present government has been doing everything possible for ensuring welfare of the common people on its way to build a middle income nation by 2021, and subsequently, a developed country by 2041,” he said.

With Taraganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zilufa Sultana in the chair, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mostain Billah and Taraganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Anisul Islam Litan attended the ceremony as special guests.
