Prime Minister’s Private Secretary-1 Sazzadul Hasan on Monday said a nation cannot prosper and attain economic emancipation without achieving quality education.
“The present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been implementing many programmes for spreading the light of quality education everywhere”, he said.
Sazzadul Hasan said this on Monday while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion marking the fifth founding anniversary of Hena Islam College in Challisha area under Netrakona sadar upazila.
Chaired by president of the college governing body Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Deputy Commissioner of Netrakona Dr Musfiqur Rahman, Chairman of the Zila Parishad Prasanta Kumar Ray, Police Superintendent Joydeb Chowdhory, Chairman of Sadar upazila Kamrul Hasan
Shahin and Chairman of Netrakona pourasabha Nazrul Islam Khan. The chief guest asked the students to be more attentive to their studies in order to serve the nation for its betterment.
