The Deputy Minister for Youths and Sports Arif Khan Joy MP said here that the government of Sheikh Hasina is making it’s untiring efforts for steering the nation towards progress and prosperity and building up the country as Sonar Bangla (Golden Bangla) as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangbandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
In this context, the deputy minister underlined the need for extending whole-hearted cooperation of the people of all walks of life irrespective of cast, creed and religion to the government for materializing the dreams of Bangabandhu.
Arif Khan Joy was addressing at a reception accorded to him at Nagra area here on Thursday organised by Netrakona Zila Parishad.
Chaired by Administrator of the Netrakona Zila parishad Matiur Rahman Khan, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Chabi Bishwas MP, deputy commissioner Netrakona Abul Kalam Azad, police super Netrakona Jakir Hussain Khan, ex-MP and freedom fighter Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, newly -elected chairman of Netrakona sader upazila parishad Kamrul Hasan Shahin , president of JSD (Inu) district unit Nirmol Kumar Das and joint secretary of district Awami League Nazrul Islam Khan.
Responding to the local problems, the deputy minister Joy assured the local people that he will put in his best and sincere efforts for solving the local problems and building up the Netrakona district as a “developed and modern district” like other developed district of the country.
