Nagorik Oikya convener and Jatiya Oikyafront leader Mahmudur Rahman Manna on Friday said that the government has failed in all sectors of the country.
“The government should accept its failure and step down from the state power,” he said this while speaking as the special guest at a discussion
meeting at the Jatiya Press Club in the city.
Jatiyatabadi Tanti Dal, a front organization of BNP, organised the discussion titled ‘Independence and detraction of voting right and today’s reality’.
Manna said, “I am telling to government that you are completely failed to give the security to the people of Bangladesh. Even though you are unable to give security to any things. You have no right to stay in power.”
About the fall of the government, he said, the fall of government is now a matter of time.Situation has changed. In DU, people were not allowed to talk about the failure of the government. But now people hold holding rallies there. It is the sign of victory of the people, he added.
BNP Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Abdus Salam , among others, were present at the meeting.
