Education Minister Dipu Moni said that the present government has put emphasis on technical education for creating self-employment opportunity in the country.
She said this on Friday while replying to a query of newsman after distributing relief materials among the cyclone Fani affected people in Chandpur Sadar Upazila.
Dipu Moni also said the present government has been working to ensure quality education in the country.
“Technical education would be initiated in class six level both for school and madras students within 2021,” she said and hoped that 30 percent students to be absorbed in technical institutions by 2030.
Chandpur Sadar Upazila Administration organized the function with the assistance of Disaster and Relief Ministry.
