Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change Shahab Uddin said the government is providing all necessary assistance to develop women’s education in the country.
“The government has given all kinds of support for women’s education, that’s why unprecedented development in women education has been taken place during the tenures of Awami League government.” If all concerned work for the development of women’s education in their respective areas utilizing government facilities, women will be able to be educated and play a greater role in the development of the country, he said. The minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at the foundation-stone laying Ceremony of Sujanagar Union Girls’ High School at Baralekha upazila in Moulvibazar on Friday afternoon, said a press release.
Baralekha Upazila Parishad Chairman Shoaib Ahmed, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Shamim Al Imran, former Upazila Parishad Chairman and Acting General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Rafiqul Islam Sundar, and founders of the school – Badrul Islam and Tareq Ahmed – were present.
