Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said the probe committee’s recommendations for taking action against intern doctors alleged as trouble makers in different medical colleges including the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is underway.
The Ministry of Health has formed a probe committee to investigate into the involvement of intern doctors in violence, chaos, indiscipline and other unlawful acts in different medical colleges including the DMCH, he said while replying to a question from treasury bench member Momtaz Begum in the House.

Begum Fazilatun Nesa on Wednesday, the health minister also said that the government has a plan to set up burn unit in all medical college hospitals across the country. “The government has already set up burn units in DMCH and Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) and the same facilities would be installed in other medical colleges phase by phase as well as in the district level hospitals,” he said.
